I'd like to see airborne operations, so when command drops airhead you flyover in a transport plane and parachute in.

Mortar kits and historically accurate 10 man squads. Greater quality of life for Squad Leaders with less loadout micro-management.
I'm so behind Guderian on the squad size it is gross and they told us to imagine they are platoons....sorry that is silly. I would like that paradrop thing if they removed the box dropping and just made it a selectable spawn for people and them a plane drops em off.
I agree with the others. I'm not sure if it's a little too much for the game, I can't say for sure, but I believe a 12 man squad should be implemented. This gives the option for 1 Squad Leader and the possible creation of a 1-2 Fireteam Leader role/position (This would be an optional role to fill). Assuming the SL decides to have 2 FTL's, that leaves 9 squad members to fill infantry roles. Of course, without FTL's there are 11 squad members. I think this would be able to keep the same amount of flexibility 6 man squads currently have, while also cutting down on Command VC chatter and getting manpower where it needs to be. It also can be used by the developers as a foundation for adding more infantry roles, or at least increasing role capacity for some jobs (2 medics, 2 assault).
I think an 8 man squad could be the sweet spot
Something as simple as other historical weapons and vehicles commonly found during the time period, Panzer III, IVs, STUGS. And a MG34 please!
